Parental Involvement at St Augustine College
At St Augustine College, we believe that education is most effective when parents and educators work hand in hand. Our parents are actively engaged in a variety of school activities that enrich student life and strengthen our sense of community. From supporting cultural events, drama productions, and sports days to contributing to sustainability projects and Erasmus+ initiatives, parental involvement is a vital part of our holistic approach to education. This collaboration not only enhances the student experience but also reflects our Augustinian values of unity, service, and shared responsibility.
The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is important for this partnership, providing a structured platform for dialogue and cooperation. Through regular meetings, fundraising efforts, and volunteer programs, the PTA ensures that parents have a voice in school development and decision-making. Initiatives such as educational workshops, social gatherings, and community outreach projects organized by the PTA foster strong relationships between families and the College. Together, we create an environment where students thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.
